We haven't seen very much press about the Xperia X10. It is by far one if not the Best Droid Phone to date and we don’t hear hardly any news. No CNBC report or huge write ups.
We recently found this article from OZCarGuide. If you never heard of them they are considered a authority site. We listen when they speak.
The HTC Incredible is selling like hotcakes for Verizon and the same can soon be expected for the HTC Evo 4G when it is released by Sprint. However, these two flagship Android models have overshadowed another major player, the Android-powered Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10.
Where does the S.E. XPERIA X10 beat its fellow Android counterparts? Japan
To truly understand the Sony Ericsson handset, one needs to look far East, Japan to be exact. Yesterday, DoCoMo had confirmed it has sold 100,000 SE XPERIA X10 units in less than 20 days, making it the best selling phone for DoCoMo ever (DoCoMo is the largest mobile carrier in Japan). These huge numbers will easily surpass the Google Nexus One over in the US which managed to do 135,000 units in 74 days. It could probably even beat the HTC Incredible and Evo 4G for all we know.
OZCAR says: Even though the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 received less than rave reviews, it is a highly sought after Android handset. One can even argue that Japan may be years ahead of the US when it comes to adopting the latest electronics. So why does a sub-par Android surpass so other hopeful options?
The Sony XPERIA X10 no doubt has impressive specs when compared to other offerings from DoCoMo. Even though it falls short of the HTC Evo 4G due to its lack of 4G capabilities, it jumps ahead thanks to its camera that is better than both the HTC Evo 4G and Incredible...
