Official Date For Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Launching On AT&T

The wait is over everyone! According to Sony Ericcson and ATT the Xperia is Finally launching in the USA and North America. Sony Ericsson will launch its Xperia X10 smartphone in the United States on AT&T's network Aug. 15, the companies said Monday. The device's unique Mediascape app collates music, photos, videos and other multimedia content that resides on the phone's memory card or online, enabling users to browse, listen and share media from a single unified view, the handset maker said.

ATT has set the price  for their newest Android-based smartphone at $149.99 for users who sign up for a two-year service agreement and minimum smartphone plan. According to Sony Ericsson Senior Vice President Paul Hamnett, the U.S. launch of the Xperia X10 will raise the bar for entertainment-rich phones. "With the convergence of our user-experience platform and the Android OS, we are bringing consumers a smartphone experience that is not only exciting, but also very refined," Hamnett said.

Vodafone was first to launch the Xperia X10 and continues to have Deals On Android Phones.
